Pennine barging gets you places you'd otherwise never see - quiet moorings in the centre of town, or secret woods and valleys. The Yorkshire canals and rivers have fantastic scenery and visit interesting places like Hebden Bridge and Skipton. The pubs give a warm welcome and great value.

Your barge is comfortable, with shower, good beds and well-planned galley. It's fully equipped with china, kitchen things and bedding. There are radio, TV, and CD and DVD players. There's mains electricity.

When you come to start your barge holiday, we give full instruction in barge handling and the use of locks, to give you confidence and help you enjoy your holiday.

Barge holidays are great for big groups, stag and hen parties. We have barges for hire which can accommodate up to 10 people, as well as the smaller ones for couples, and all sizes between.

Our shortest barge holiday is a weekend, from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. Or take a midweek break, from Monday afternoon to Friday morning. Or splash out on a full week or fortnight, starting Friday, Saturday or Monday.
